Emergency works to sunken car park
Northern General Hospital
Emergency job due to a sunken car park at the Northern General Hospital. We dug down and found a collapsed drain which had caused the area to sink. Lanson Civils then repaired the drain and Re-instated the affected area to a high standard.

This job started as a strip foundation for an extension, however, when we dug down we come accross a coal seem. Barnsley building control advised that this would now need to be on a raft foundation. Here at Lanson we advised the client of this and sourced a strucltual engineer to come up with new drawings that BBC acceoted with in a matter of days and got the job sorted.
